Research Interests: My main research interest is in biological non-linear phenomena, such as feedback loops. I am currently working on the feedback loop between gene flow and local adaptation in different ecological context such as intraguild predation, competition for heterogeneous resources, and climate change. I am studying the evolution of biodiversity, species range and mechanisms of non-random mating. This research program is built on the expertise that I developed during my Ph.D. while studying the process of ecological speciation, a special case in which local adaptation reduces gene flow.
